We are excited to announce the return of Ronan Nelson to the Mustangs as he takes on the role of Alumni Liaison in our 20th Anniversary Season.

Ronan started playing rugby with the Mustangs at a YMCA camp in 2008 run by San Diego Youth Rugby's founder, Bruno Artero, and has been a part of the club ever since. In his time, Ronan has worked in various positions across the rugby world, including work for the Mustangs, UCLA Rugby, Dublin University Football Club, and the San Diego Legion. Ronan aims to build off the momentum created by the club's 20th Anniversary Season to kickstart an alumni program that will connect past Mustangs players and alumni with the club's current player base.

"I'm very excited to get to work as the club's alumni liaison. This club is already a staple of the West Coast youth rugby scene and has an untapped alumni base that can push the club to the next level. I want former Mustangs players and families to stay involved with the club long-term and be excited to celebrate the club they contributed to growing up."
