The club is a volunteer-run, 501 (c) 3 organization made up of parents, coaches and players who are passionate about rugby and focused on introducing the sport to as many youth as possible in the broad area covering Carmel Valley, Del Mar, La Jolla, Sorrento Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Westview, Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch and Black Mountain Ranch.
San Diego Mustangs Youth Rugby strives to provide the highest standard and quality of coaching and training, to foster teamwork and to develop each player to the best of his/her potential in a fun and safe environment. All coaches, parents and players are mindful of the Mustangs playing in the spirit of the game, with a focus on teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.

Mustangs Rugby Scholarship Policy
Positioning Statement & Philosophy:
The Mustangs believe in providing opportunities for all players to participate in rugby, regardless of financial circumstances. Our mission is to grow the game in an inclusive, community-focused way that emphasizes player development, character, and team values over competition for talent.
Scholarship Purpose:
